Hillary Clinton slams 'cruelty' of Arizona abortion law in interview with emotional Kelly Clarkson
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took a swipe at voters "upset" by the forthcoming rematch between President Biden and former President Trump during her appearance on "The Tonight Show." Hillary Clinton reacted to a recent ruling in Arizona, which bans abortion in nearly all circumstances, calling it "cruelty" during an interview with Kelly Clarkson and encouraging Americans to vote in a way that would "make life better" for the largest number of people. "I feared it would happen but I hoped it wouldn't happen. Now here we are in the middle of this very difficult period for women in about half the states in our country, who cannot get the care that they need. And the old law in Arizona is without exceptions and the danger to women's lives as well as to our right to make our own decisions about our bodies and ourselves is so profound," Clinton said during the interview with Clarkson on "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

ChatGPT can influence people to make life or DEATH decisions, study finds
Artificially intelligent chatbots have become so powerful they can influence how users make life or death decisions, a study has claimed. Researchers found people's opinion on whether they would sacrifice one person to save five was swayed by answers given by ChatGPT. They have called for future bots to be banned from giving advice on ethical issues, warning the current software'threatens to corrupt' people's moral judgement and may prove dangerous to'naïve' users. The findings – published in journal Scientific Reports - come after the grieving widow of a Belgian man claimed he had been encouraged to take his own life by an AI chatbot. Others have told how the software, which is designed to talk like a human, can show signs of jealousy - even telling people to leave their marriage.

AI promises to make life easier. But it could also change what it means to be human
Writing and, later, the printing press made it possible to carefully record history and easily disseminate knowledge, but it eliminated centuries-old traditions of oral storytelling. Ubiquitous digital and phone cameras have changed how people experience and perceive events. Widely available GPS systems have meant that drivers rarely get lost, but a reliance on them has also atrophied their native capacity to orient themselves. While the term AI conjures up anxieties about killer robots, unemployment, or a massive surveillance state, there are other, deeper implications. As AI increasingly shapes the human experience, how does this change what it means to be human?
